ARTICLE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Articles submitted for publication must be original work on an issue related to social justice or social action, as the subject matter will impact individuals, the community at large or the world.
- Articles must be no more than 500 words and must include the name of the author, city of residence and e-mail address. Authors may opt to include a small photo and a line or two on why the subject of their article is of interest to them.
- Each article must include this paragraph at the bottom:
“I certify that I am the original author of this article, entitled (title of article), and I grant permission for this article to be published by Action Now Network on the Action Now Network Home Page. “
- Articles must be submitted by e-mail as a Word Document or PDF attachment to info@actionnownetwork.com.
- Articles may be submitted to Action Now Network throughout the year.
- All authors must be registered members of Action Now Network.
- Action Now Network management, cannot guarantee publication of any article submitted. Action Now Network management will, in its sole discretion, will select the articles it deems to be appropriate for publication.
- Students: Students of any age may submit an article for publication following the rules listed above. Students must indicate their name, grade, school, city in which their school is located, teacher’s name and their own city of residence with the article. Only the student’s first name, grade and city of residence will be published.
- Student articles will be published as they are received, if deemed appropriate by Action Now Network management.
- At the end of the school year, Action Now Network will identify the best student article it has received up to that point in time and will award that student a new Touch IPOD. The winning article will be republished at that time, along with a feature on the student author.
